This week is International Education Week. A joint initiative of the U.S. Departments of State and Education, the five-day series of events is held each November to promote the benefits of international study and exchange activities. As usual, EducationUSA centers around the world will host college fairs, conduct advising workshops, and announce special programs.
Here in New Zealand our Educational Adviser will lead a series of open workshops for prospective students to attend in the Auckland area, including sessions on choosing the best school to fit your needs, writing the essays for your university applications, and preparing for standardized tests. If you are considering undergraduate or graduate study in the United States, I’d urge you to consider participating in one or more of the following activities:
